1. Q: Is there a complimentary airport shuttle & How far is the airport from the hotel?

A: The airport is approximately 2 miles from hotel and yes we offer 24 hour complimentary guest Airport Shuttle Service that runs every 30 minutes.


2. Q: How does the in-room high speed internet service work?

A: Internet is always free. We are pleased to offer new wireless high speed internet access throughout the hotel and in guest rooms.


3. Q: Do the rooms have individual climate control?

A: Yes. Simply adjust the thermostat to a temperature that suits you.


4. Q: Where is your fitness room and what is the cost?

A: Our fitness room is located on the lobby level and is complimentary. Fitness room includes two treadmills, one stationary bike, one stairclimber , one rowing machine. Our Fitness room also includes a new strength training machine.


5. Q: What is there to do around here?

A: We are conveniently located near shopping, golf courses and many of Toronto top attractions.


6. Q: Do you have a restaurant?

A: Yes. Perkins Family Restaurant & Bakery serves: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner and is located in the hotel, and is open Monday – Thursday 6am – Midnight and 24 hours Friday - Sunday. Perkins also provides our guests with late night room service, special children's menu and special seniors menu.


7. Q: Can I get a late check out?

Toronto Weather

Toronto typically experiences warm, humid summers, and cold and often snowy winters. Normal high temperatures in June, July and August range from 24°C to 27 °C, while daytime temperatures in December, January and February are normally at or below the freezing mark. The city also normally receives 100-120 cm of snow during the winter months.

Lake-effect snowfall accounts for much of Toronto's winter precipitation. If winds are blowing strong enough out of the northwest, snow squalls off Lake Huron and Georgian Bay can reach Toronto. Strong easterly winds blowing across Lake Ontario can also result in snow for the city.

Early spring can be quite unpredictable in Toronto, with daytime temperatures in March and April near or below 12°C with the occasional chance of below freezing temperatures and snow. May brings a noticeable warm up, with daytime temperatures averaging near 18°C.

Autumn is quite mild in Toronto. Mid October usually brings the first frost.

What to pack:

  • Warm clothing that can be layered during the day
  • Light waterproof rain coat
  • Warm coat for the evenings

Summer

In the Summer months (June, July, August) Toronto experiences warm humid summers.With high temperatures in the range of 24°C to 27°C.

What to pack:

  • Short sleeved shirts & shorts for the daytime
  • Light sweaters, and pants for the evening
  • Light waterproof rain coat or windbreaker

Winter

In the Winter months (December, January, February) Toronto experiences mild winters, with temperature typically in the range of -2°C to 0°C. Toronto normally receives approx. 100-120 cm of snowfall during the course of the season.

  • Warm/Heavy coat

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is a major museum for world culture and natural history. The Don Valley Brick Works is a former industrial site, which opened in 1889, and has recently been restored as a park and heritage site. The Canadian National Exhibition is held annually at Exhibition Place, and it is the oldest annual fair in the world. It is Canada's largest annual fair and the fifth largest in the world, with an average attendance of 1.3 million.

The Yorkville neighbourhood is one of Toronto's most elegant shopping and dining areas. On many occasions, celebrities from all over North America can be spotted in the area, especially during the Toronto International Film Festival. The Toronto Eaton Centre is one of North America's top shopping destinations, and Toronto's most popular tourist attraction with over 1 million visitors per week.

Greektown on the Danforth, is another one of the major attractions of Toronto which boasts one of the highest concentrations of restaurants per kilometre in the world. It is also home to the annual "Taste of the Danforth" festival which attracts over one million people in 2 1/2 days. Toronto is also home to Canada's most famous "castle" - Casa Loma, the former estate of Sir Henry Pellatt, a prominent Toronto financier, industrialist and military man.
